Strategic alliance to scale releaf® — a 100% renewable and recyclable plant-based polymer.
Tereos has signed Memoranda of Understanding with Avantium to accelerate industrial production of PEF (polyethylene furanoate), marketed as releaf® — a 100% renewable and recyclable polymer.
The alliance brings together Avantium, Tereos and LVMH GAÏA to develop bio-based plastics derived from plant resources, contributing to the transition away from fossil-based materials.
